About Immensity

Have you ever wanted to start over, but didn’t know where to begin? Maybe that’s a reoccurring theme in your life. Do you want a new job? Loyalty in your relationships? To travel the world? A better education? How do you get there? One thing I have learned is nothing comes easy in life. You, me, everyone, has to work for what they want and keep working. We all have to Face Immensity- to go in the unknown in order to have something we have never had before.

That can be scary. To try something new, means you are exposing yourself to different experiences. My professor at George Washington University told our class that, “If you don’t feel like you are going to fail my class at some point, I am not doing my job.” My first thought was, “Um, I don’t fail classes.” But once I thought about it, I realized what he meant. We needed to expand our minds. We needed to step out of our comfort zone and try something that has never been done before. That was the only way we were going to learn, the only way we were going to be pushed. He wanted us, no, he demanded that we were uncomfortable the entire class because that’s  when our inner genius would be exposed. And you know what? It worked.

This blog is about how I have and continue to Face Immensity in my life. The good, the crazy and the emotional adventures in my life have brought me to where I am today. I have faced many fears, tried many things, but just like you, I have a ways to go.

This world is full of experiences. Are you afraid to be uncomfortable and follow your dreams? What is your immensity and how are you going to face it?
